Chapter 115.2 - Falling into an ice cave

“There’s always that possibility.” After all, it’s been tradition for heroes to be unable to resist a beauty.

From the moment that Ruan Xiuren gave in to Ruan Zhen, time after time, it was probably all for that mysterious ninth madam.

Now, they’d have to see if Thousand Face could get the ninth madam’s portrait.

At that time, Ruan Zhen would completely lose her Ruan family backing.

Suddenly, a sound from outside sounded.

Lou Qingwu turned and saw a servant looking man flip in from the window.

Lan Bai jumped in fright, she was just about to hit him when the man suddenly lifted up his face - a human skin mask.

He lifted it up and revealed Thousand Face’s face.

“Ah, don’t hit me. This little girl really isn’t cute! Don’t ruin the portrait! This was something I tried very hard to get, very hard!”

Lan Bai waited to see Thousand Face more carefully before stepping back.

When she heard the second part of his sentence, her eyes lit up, “You got the ninth madam’s portrait?”

“Of course! Who do you think I am, there’s nothing in the world that I can’t get!”

After finishing speaking, Thousand Face presented it like he was presenting a treasure to Lou Qingwu.

Lou Qingwu’s eyes flashed as she took it and slowly opened the red satin covering it.

To open it, one hand held the top while the other slowly unravelled the portrait.

She was extremely curious about what type of beauty would be able to make Ruan XIuren give up such a large family property.

At the same time, she was also curious about this ninth madam’s identity, how she could just appear out of nowhere.

Of course, she’d have to have a reason why she hid her identity.

But when the portrait completely opened, when Lou Qingwu saw the woman’s face, her whole body was completely stiff.

Lou Qingwu’s whole body grew uneasy, anxious as countless other emotions surged, nearly making a complete mess of her mind.

She suddenly took a step back, gasping for air as her large and widened eyes still reflected the woman in the portrait.

The portrait had been messily thrown on the ground.

At this point, the portrait to her was like a demon.

Thousand Face and Lan Bai were shocked by Lou Qingwu’s reaction.

When they reacted, they couldn’t help but step forward and ask anxiously, “Master, what happened? Are you okay?”

Lou Qingwu shook her head, her arms slowly lowering as her eyes flashed blank and helplessly.

Finally, she just felt a coldness nibble at her heart.

She felt like, what was the point of doing this?

“Master?” Lan Bai was getting scared by Lou Qingwu’s eyes, she uneasily called out.

Lou Qingwu weakly waved her away, “I need quiet.”

After she finished speaking, she slowly walked forward, walking past the fallen portrait.

She walked straight to her room and under the sun, she felt like her whole body had fallen into an ice cave, her whole body was frozen cold.

Thousand Face watched her leave, uneasily.

He hesitated as he looked down and picked up the portrait.

Because he was too anxious to let his master to see first, he hadn’t even taken a look.

When he opened the portrait and saw the woman appear in front of his eyes, he froze.
