Chapter 194.1 - She misunderstood
“Master, you-you’re awake?”
Inside the room, on the bed, Feng Yege was already sitting upright.
His handsome face was still pale, but it looked a lot better than last night.
He didn’t know if it was his wrong feeling, but he felt like his master was in a very good mood.
Hearing Feng Shiyi’s movements, Feng Yi and the others also stuck their heads inside.
Seeing Feng Yege awake, they all stood up properly before kneeling down uniformly.
“Master, please punish us. We were too powerless, to let master be hurt!”
Feng Yege calmly looked at them, “Did you really think those people could hurt me?”
“Ah?” They all froze before looking at each other, not understanding what Feng Yege meant.
But it was Feng Shiyi who thought of something, he looked at Feng Yege with a shocked expression, “Master, you … wouldn’t have purposely injured yourself, right?”
“I didn’t say that. Alright, all of you can get up. All go back to sleep.”
“But master’s injury …”
“I’ve already eaten two Tianshan snow lotuses, so even if I was half dead, I’d be fine.” It was rare for Feng Yege to be so patient and explain things to them.
Feng Shiyi still felt like something was wrong.
He was still debating whether or not he wanted to tell Feng Yege about Lou Qingwu visiting him but he was already being dragged out by the others.
When he reached the entrance, Feng Yi saw he was still in a daze and couldn’t help but slap his head.
“You’re so stupid, ah. Master clearly knew that Miss Lou came. Why don’t you think about it? Tianshan snow lotuses are so expensive, how could an ordinary imperial doctor have that? It was definitely Miss Lou who gave it to master to eat. But Miss Lou really is generous, Tianshan snow lotuses are so expensive. I remember back then, for the sake of finding a lotus, she nearly died of frostbite, and giving master two in one shot? If that isn’t true love … I definitely won’t believe in love again!”
After speaking, he didn’t take another look at the stupid-eyed Feng Shiyi, hurrying back to take a nap.
Feng Shiyi blinked before regaining his senses.
Maybe it was just them being overly worried.
Master’s inner strength was so strong, so even if he did get shot by an arrow, he wouldn’t be in this much danger?
It was probably because they were so shocked by how serious the imperial doctors made it.
He helplessly shook his head before suddenly wondering if he should pity Miss Lou more or his master.
At this time, Feng Yege who sat in his room alone, had eyes that suddenly grew so warm that a person could get drunk off of it.
After a long time, he took a look at the injury on his chest, helplessly mumbling, “Little brat, letting me be so heartbroken for so long …”
Understanding his heart matters, Feng Yege’s body had finally reached its limits as he fell into a deep sleep.
It wasn’t long afterwards that he was woken by a loud crying noise outside of his rooms.
He opened his eyes before narrowing them.
Just as he was about to sit up, he saw Feng San charge through his doors and barge through, “Master, the Countess of Chaoxia is outside and she won’t go back unless she sees that you’re fine.”
Feng Yege’s brows furrowed, he nearly forgot about her.
Yesterday, when he met with assassins, his mind had quickly come up with a scheme.
He wanted to see if Lou Qingwu’s heart would hurt if she saw him injured, so before he could even realise what he was doing, he’d already lurched in front of the Countess of Chaoxia and taken an arrow to the chest.
His hand rubbed his forehead, waving his hands, “Let her come in then, wait, first let the imperial doctors come in too.”
“Yes!” Feng San quickly left before just as he was about to say something, Feng Yege’s doors were burst open again.
The Countess of Chaoxia was like a butterfly, pouncing on top of Feng Yege’s body.
Feng Yege’s sleeve waved as a bout of inner strength pulled a chair to stop her in her tracks.
“Brother … Ye …” She stared at the white bandages on Feng Yege’s chest.
The Countess of Chaoxia covered her mouth as she started to sob loudly, crying, “Brother Ye, I didn’t think … I didn’t think that you’d give up your life for me … Yiren … really is so moved.”

TL note:
YOU’RE WRONG.
SO WRONG.
Leave a comment and follow for Feng Yege to make things worse xx
Thumbs up to Feng Yi for explaining it in that manner...
ReplyDelete.... No seriously FY, if you're gonna get injured at LEAST try to not make it be literally in your heart?! Are you trying to widow our LQW? Hmph.
I'd comment on cannon fodder but... .... why bother? XD
Feng Yi: 1, Feng Shiyi: 0
DeleteFeng Yege has to make it dramatic, LQW wouldn't come over for a broken arm 😭😭
... Good point considering she didn't even flinch when he got his arm hurt >_>;;;;
DeleteI thought she was upset then? My memory's getting hazy 💀💀
DeleteOH. MY. GOSH.
ReplyDeleteI really want to jump into the novel and give that countess of STUPIDITY a slap and a smack in the head.
If I was there I'll be like, *stand infront of her and start with an eye-roll* "Puhleaseee, we don't want you to be emotionally moved, we want you to physically moved, as in move away where we cannot see you FOR.EVAH!"
Thanks for the chapter~! FY really explained his self there. (♡´౪`♡)
It's a good misunderstanding though, he really did get injured for her, and it's life threatening 💀💀
DeleteCountess Countess, it's so not about you 😤
ReplyDeleteShe's so self centred 🤧🤧
DeleteBahahahaha, stealing Third Prince’s way of testing LQW’s depth of feelings Pffftt ... but now he created a Countess ChaoXia headache to last even longer *sigh*
