Palace outfits weren’t actually that revealing but when Tang Xiao wore hers, the producers started to worry about whether or not they’d pass the censorship tests.

Even though they were on the same set, Tang Xiao was on a different level with the other actresses.

Tang Xiao: ….

“A chest is nothing, it actually doesn’t feel that different from bottoms. In the future, if you want to touch it, just touch your own bottom.” Tang Xiao suggested very sincerely.

Tong Chou silently rubbed her bottom and sighed, “I don’t even have a bottom.”

Tang Xiao was embarrassed. “Then why don’t you go and rub the lighting group leader’s stomach? I think it looks really soft to touch.”

Tong Chou laughed, “You really know how to play!”

“Tang Xiao, Mu Cheng, it’s your turn! After this scene, you’re both done!” The assistant director yelled out.

Tang Xiao fixed up her clothing and headed off to prepare.

Normally, with bed scenes, you’d wait until both actors were completely close, and then film them.

So even though the bed scene became a kissing scene, the normal procedures still had to be followed.

The crown prince would first gently lift up Liu Ji’s hair, and then kiss her.

After they’d be kissing passionately, then he’d gently press her against the bed.

Then they’d be done, and Tang Xiao would finally be able to go home and play games.

But when they actually got to film their scene, the whole set was anxiously watching the screen.

Mu Cheng and Tang Xiao looked very aesthetic on screen, and Mu Cheng was slowly carrying Tang Xiao towards the bed when the most crucial moment had arrived!

After her makeup was fixed, they started again. Tang Xiao really grew scared that Mu Cheng would die from poisoning, after eating so much of her lipstick.

“Restraint! You have to show restraint! Think of the feeling on screen!” Director Li screamed.

At 3.04pm.

Director Li: “You’re off the screen! Kiss again!”

At 3.15pm.

Director Li: “Stop! Tang Xiao’s face wasn’t showing! Kiss again!”

At 3.52pm.

Director Li: “Stop! Press down on her slower! Don’t stop kissing! Get on top again!”

They had re-filmed the scene so many times that Tang Xiao had already grown known.

“Tang Xiao, you really know how to do it! For the sake of kissing Mu Cheng a bit more, you really re-filmed the scene for the whole afternoon.” Mu Jin sighed.

Tang Xiao looked at her seriously, “It really is their fault. Now when I kiss Mu Cheng, it feels like I’m eating pork tongue.”

Mu Cheng: ……

Everyone else: ……

“My god! Mu Cheng’s even putting in his tongue!” Mu Jin immediately grabbed the crucial point. “You’ve been kissing for the whole afternoon, it really must hurt.”

Tang Xiao pulled out a hairpin and poked Mu Jin’s chest, “Shut up! Say it one more time and I’ll stab this into your chest!”

“Alright! If we need to re-film any scenes post-edit, we’ll get you guys to add in a few more scenes.” Director Li patted her shoulder.

“It’s been hard on director Li.” Tang Xiao thanked him.

Mu Cheng’s character was one of the first to die on set so he didn’t have a lot of parts to film, and he was nearly done.

After this scene, Tang Xiao didn’t even get to change before being called over to eat barbeque with everyone else.

There were about a hundred people on set, so as they all rushed to the barbecue restaurant, the boss was already about to cry from fear.

Their hands shook as they cooked chicken wings, chicken hearts, oysters, clams, lamb skewers, etc, well into the night.
