Chapter 230.2 - Treating rumours as the truth

“That, master, what do you think Miss Lou meant? She’s unmarried so how could she have a child? Furthermore, from what Miss Lou said, it seems like the child is the third prince’s too. But how could a child come back from life? Also, Miss Lou only started interacting with the third prince months ago. I can definitely guarantee they’d never met each other before then too.”

Feng Yege’s expression grew even more strange.

His brows furrowed and after a long time, his voice was deep, “This, have you said this to anyone else?”

“No, no, I haven’t told anyone else.” After all, it was too wild for anyone to actually belief.

If he told anyone else, they’d probably think he was crazy.

“En, from now on, pretend that you didn’t hear a thing and forget it all. Also, don’t mention it to anyone else.” Feng Yege’s eyes were solemn.

Feng Shiyi swallowed before obediently nodding his head.

Feng Yege then waved him away, “You can go rest now. If there’s anything else, I’ll ask for you.”

“ … yes.” Feng Shiyi rubbed his head.

He thought for a bit, is master’s words meant he probably didn’t believe him.

But that would be right.

After all, he was probably dizzy from being too tired and that’s why he was hallucinating, that was definitely it!

After Feng Shiyi left, Feng Yege didn’t move for a long time.

But his eyes grew darker.

His long eyelashes slightly lowered, hiding the emotions in his eyes.

He suddenly stood up and changed his clothes before heading to the underground black market.

Li Yuan hadn’t slept all night because he had some business to take care of.

He blinked a few times before realising that he was real, “Aye, I say. You … didn’t you go back last night? Are you moody again?”

“Right now, my mood’s never been better.”

“Re-a-lly?” Li Yuan stretched out the word, suspicious.

After all, who was it that spent night after night, drowning in alcohol because he was so upset?

“There’s something I want to ask you about.” He lifted up his gown to sit down across from Li Yuan.

Feng Yege’s phoenix eyes were fixed on Li Yuan.

Li Yuan couldn’t help but sit up straight, “Hey, what happened? Why are you suddenly staring at me like that? It feels strange.”

Feng Yege pursed his lips.

After a long time, he finally spoke slowly.

He repeated what Feng Shiyi said to him and after he finished, he lowered his eyes and didn’t look at Li Yuan.

Li Yuan’s expression was curious but after half a day, he finally blinked, “You … are you sure what you heard was right?”

“En.” Feng Yege lifted up a cup as his finger traced the edge of the cup. “What do you think about this?”

Li Yuan blinked his peach blossom eyes before his lips curled up. “You’re asking for my opinion? Then I’ll tell you what I know. I don’t remember who said it to me but they said there was a shaman’s clan. It’s said that there was once a person who died holding a deep and bitter grudge to death, which let them come back to when their grudge began - they came back to life. But, that’s just some rumour I heard. So it might just all be hearsay.”

But after Li Yuan’s words fell, Feng Yege didn’t say anything more.

Feng Yege was silent for a long time as his mind quickly flashed over what he had seen Lou Qingwu do.

She seemed to know a lot of things, and she knew them a lot clearly than anyone else and before anyone else too.

Furthermore, it could explain some illogical things that she’d done before.
