Lou Qingwu didn’t think the effect of the dress would be that good, and even she was shocked by how beautiful it was for a second. 

And just as everyone was shaken by how beautiful it was, they all looked at it in awe. 

It really was such a gorgeous dress, truly one of its kind. 

They were afraid even when the current empress got married, even her wedding set wasn’t as gorgeous and delicate as this set was. 

Just looking at this set and then comparing it to the set that Ye Ji was wearing, really made her set dull in comparison. 

A few noble wives looked at each other and couldn’t help but snicker, “And she was even rushing to give her dress to someone else, but who knew that person didn’t even like that dress! What a joke!” 

Ye Ji’s expression turned ugly, she couldn’t even force a smile.

First, she stole brother Ye’s heart, then that jewellery set that she liked and now again, with this wedding set, she really was so upset, so frustrated! 

But there were just too many people around so she couldn’t actually cause a scene, otherwise, if brother Ye heard about it, he’d only get annoyed and dislike her. 

But this kind of humiliation, she really couldn’t take it lying down.
