Chapter 247.1 - Exactly the same
Feng Yege saw her nod and smiled without speaking.
He used his knuckles to lightly knock on the the table.
His head of black hair fell against his back, he really was so handsome it was hard to look away.
Feng Qi quickly came in with two goblets of ginseng soup.
One was placed in front of Feng Yege and the other to the side of Ye Ji.
Then she emotionlessly left.
“Try it out.” Feng Yege’s face was still leaning against his hand.
He didn’t touch the soup in front of him.
His eyes were still half lowered and extremely gentle, and the way that he looked at Ye Ji made her heart melt.
She rushed to reach forward and drink the soup.
With each spoonful, the soup was sweet in her mouth.
She didn’t know what was inside but it was sweet without being too cloying and was quite refreshing to drink.
Especially once she thought about how this was personally cooked by Feng Yege for her, Ye Ji drank a few more mouthfuls.
Feng Yege’s eyes followed her and as he watched her, his smile grew, “Is it good?”
“It’s so good! I didn’t think that a ginseng soup made by brother Ye would be so tasty.”
“I just didn’t have much to do, if you like it, I’ll make some more for you in the future.”
“No need for that much trouble, as long as brother Ye has that intention, I’m already extremely satisfied.” She cupped her hands in front of her heart.
Ye Ji had never felt so blissful, and this only strengthened the idea that she was right in doing what she did to get here!
As for Lou Qingwu, once she gained brother Ye’s heart, she’d then think about how avenge today’s humiliation!
Ye Ji drank the whole goblet of soup and then lifted up her head.
She met Feng Yege’s gentle eyes and suddenly blushed.
If he didn’t know about the violent and ruthless things that she did, just looking at her, Feng Yege really would’ve thought that she was a pure and good-hearted girl.
It was just a pity that you can’t tell who a person is by just looking at them.
After Ye Ji drank it all, Feng Yege stood up and walked over in front of Ye Ji.
He looked down to her gracefully and gave her a silk handkerchief, “Look at how eager you are. If you really do like it, I’ll just make more for you.”
Ye Ji shyly took the handkerchief and nodded her head, then she giddily left.
After she left, Feng Qi walked back in.
Feng Yege had already gotten back to the head of the hall and emotionlessly used another handkerchief to wipe at his hands.
He looked at the soup by his side, his eyes dark, “What happened today?”
