Chapter 240.2 - Only marrying one person 

A short time later, they came back with an object and threw it in front of Xiahou Qing. “Third prince, someone threw something across the wall from the rear courtyard.” 

“Go see what it is.” 

“Yes!” The guard received his orders and amongst them, one of them crouched down and began to loosen the rope around the burlap bag. 

But once he moved the bag, the thing inside started wriggling around. 

Xiahou Qing emotionlessly watched, his expression unclear. 

But when the burlap bag opened up, it immediately revealed a head. 

The eyes were wide with fear and unease as they stared at Xiahou Qing before immediately moving to Ye Ji behind him. 

“Ah ah ah!” She started to scream. 

Her whole body was tied up with rope and there was something stuffed into her mouth. 

When she saw Ye Ji, she tried her hardest to wriggle towards her, like an awkward snake, in a manner that made everyone uncomfortable. 

“It’s you?” Ye Ji walked over, her eyes fell on the person in front of her as her brows furrowed tightly. 

When she saw that the guard was about to undo the ropes on her, she immediately stopped them. “You all can leave!” 

But those guards didn’t move until Xiahou Qing also waved his hands. They then left. 

After seeing this, a light flashed in Ye Ji’s eyes as she waited for them to leave before turning around to Xiahou Qing, “Can the third prince let me speak to this person in private?” 

“You know her?” Xiahou Qing swept his eyes at the person who had been beaten to the point where they were unrecognisable. “Who is she?” 

Ye Ji laughed and shook her head, not saying a word. 

Xiahou Qing realised he wouldn’t get anything, humphed and threw his sleeve before turning around and leaving. 

If she didn’t want to say, he wasn’t interested in knowing  either. 

Ye Ji wasn’t sure how Little Bell ended up here? 

She was even more scared that Feng Yege had thrown her in front of her, did brother Ye already know something? 

Her heart suddenly went cold as Little Bell continued to struggle for her life. 

Ye Ji impatiently scowled, “Behave and stop moving!” 

Little Bell’s eyes widened, and then went crazy trying to wriggle out. 

Ye Ji was incredibly frustrated and kicked her before pressing down on her, “If you don’t want to die, shut up! Right now, I’m going to take the cloth out of your mouth and if you scream, I’ll get someone to drag you out and feed you to the dogs!” 

Little Bell heard this and immediately nodded her head. 

Ye Ji was satisfied, took the cloth out of her mouth and Little Bell was probably too scared by what Ye Ji said, so she only looked on, frightened. 

“Why are you here? Who sent you here?” Ye Ji impatiently wanted to know. 

“Lou, Lou Qingwu …” Little Bell coughed, her throat hurt and could only cough out a name. 

When she heard Lou Qingwu, Ye Ji let out a relieved breath before looking at Little Bell with malice, “What are you doing here?” 

“The antidote, you said that if I did as you said, you’d give me the antidote. But why did you avoid me?!” Little Bell thought about how Ye Ji had avoided her for two days, and couldn’t help but grow frustrated as she growled, like a wolf. 

She was vicious but weak, scared that she’d really anger the person in front of her so her voice trembled a bit, showing her unease. 

Ye Ji laughed coldly, not saying a word. 

“Give me the antidote, and I’ll definitely leave far away. I’ll never come back.” Little Bell was scared by the look in Ye Ji’s eyes. 

“You want the antidote? Okay, I’ll give it to you.” Ye Ji’s face warmed a lot, stretching out a hand to undo the ropes tying up Little Bell. 

Then she slowly stood up, using her foot to kick her as she laughed a bit strangely, “if you want the antidote, follow me.” 

Little Bell quickly climbed up, limping as she followed Ye Ji to her courtyard. 

When she got to Ye Ji’s place, there was no one there at all. 

A cold breeze blew in and Little Bell suddenly thought about what Lou Qingwu said right before she left, “The you that has lost all value, let’s see how Ye Ji will treat you”. 

She suddenly grew frightened, turning around to run away before someone grabbed her by the back of the neck, throwing her on the ground.
