Chapter 241.1 - Extreme benevolence, meticulous
“Ah ah ah!” Little Bell was scared to death as she fell to the ground, taking in a face of dirt.
She floundered, frightened, “Don’t kill me! Don’t kill me! You said that afterwards, you’d send me away! I just want the antidote, please, just give me the antidote, and let me leave!”
“Ah, I said I’d give you the antidote didn't I?” Ye Ji pressed her hard against the ground, looking at her like a pinned fish on a chopping board that was struggling for its life.
She smiled devilishly, “Don’t worry, I’ll give you the antidote, but … it’ll be after you die!”
“No -- mmm!”
Little Bell’s scream suddenly stopped as Ye Ji muffled her mouth.
When her ears were finally clear, Ye Ji beamed as she stood up and pulled a chair over.
She sat down and looked at the person who was squirming like a slug.
She wasn’t worried at all as she looked at her painted nails and blew on them, “Little Bell, ah, do you know what I hate most?”
“...” Little Bell’s squirming body suddenly froze as she listened to Ye Ji continue to speak.
“I hate betrayal. So even though you didn’t betray me, you still betrayed someone. So, how could I let you live? Also, now that I think of it, you really are annoying.” If she let this person live, she couldn’t guarantee that brother Ye wouldn’t be able to investigate and find out that she was the person behind it all.
If that happened, all of her plans would go up in flames.
Right now, brother Ye thought he’d already slept with her, so she had to become the Night Prince’s consort in the future.
So how could she let herself stoop down to the level of these people.
Even if Lou Qingwu already knew it was her, so what?
Without evidence, brother Ye would only think that Little Bell was someone sent by her to frame brother Ye and brother Ye … would only hate her.
She cackled. “What to do? Just thinking about how you’ll disappear from this earth, I just feel so excited! Are you excited?” She kicked Little Bell and stepped on her as she laughed and watched Little Bell’s face grow frightened and fearful.
Her voice became gentle, “Don’t worry, I’ll personally watch as you take your last breath. This is about the time when the voodoo worm should kick in, as you haven’t had the antidote. Originally, I wanted you to just die by yourself but now that you’ve come here, how could I not personally send you off, right?”
“MMMM …” Little Bell continued to struggle forwards, but suddenly excruciating pain crushed her body.
Her whole body stiffened and jumped as if she was a fish that had jumped out of water and then she stopped moving.
Then in the next moment, she started to painfully writhe around on the ground, her face distorted in pain.
Ye Ji continued to watch on calmly as the voodoo worm kicked in.
She watched her tormented face as if it was Lou Qingwu’s and laughed wildly.
When the person in front of her finally stopped breathing and because of the voodoo worm, became completely broken, Ye Ji laughed coldly.
She casually rolled her up and then personally dragged her out to a pit, throwing her to the dogs.
Just like that, she didn’t think anybody would be able to recognise her.
After Ye Ji left, a shadow suddenly appeared in front of the pit, their eyes falling on the bundled thing in front of them.
Their eyes grew deep as they quickly went back, all the way to the Leaning Wind Pavilion.
They reported back to Lou Qingwu, “Master, the person … is dead.”
Lou Qingwu’s hands froze for a second before she replied without emotion, “En, bury them.”
“Master, for someone like that that is so cruel and betrayed you, you should just let her be eaten by wild dogs.”
“She was Su Sheng’s person after all, bury her.” This counted as a final act of benevolence.
If it wasn’t for her pushing all of the blame onto Su Sheng, she wouldn’t have been so callous.
But Little Bell definitely shouldn’t have partnered with Ye Ji to scheme against Feng Yege, and that … can’t be forgiven!

Slug - the original term was a loach/mudfish, but I don’t really know much about them?
I found a really good novel but there were like five potential male leads (!) and the author threw in a plot twist, and the female lead ended up with the least likely one/least presence. And I got so upset I stopped reading it. Oops.
