Leng Yichen’s words were too sharp, they made Zi Li furious.

She whipped her head over to glare at him, “It’s not like you’re any better! If you were better at managing this place, and didn’t just let anyone come in here, would this have happened to me?”

Leng Yichen laughed coldly, “This is Changle Lane, a place for men to seek pleasure. You’re a girl but you don’t know shame, crossdressing as a man to sneak in here so even if anything did happen to you, it’d be your fault! Who can you blame?”

“I don’t know shame?” Zi Li’s tears started to drop to the ground.

“What, is there anyone else here?” If she wasn’t the type to just bite people randomly, Leng Yichen would’ve at least treated her well because he did take advantage of her when she stripped in front of him.

But because she just started accusing everyone and angered Lou Qingwu, he couldn’t treat her well even if he wanted to!

Leng Yichen was famed for protecting his own!

“You! …” She started to cough from anger as her face flushed red.

The drug started to flare up again as she continued to splutter.

Lou Qingwu’s brows furrowed.

If it was anyone else, she wouldn’t care so much but because she came out of her senior brother’s residence ….

Her eyes narrowed as she lifted her chin up at Thousand Face, gesturing for him to send her back.

When he saw Lou Qingwu, he visibly paused at her before moving to Leng Yichen, his face completely coldening.

Then he looked down at Zi Li again.

Zi Li had already pushed away Feng Shiyi’s hand that wanted to help her up as she crouched on the ground.

Her tears kept dropping down to the ground and as if she felt Feng Yege’s eyes on her, she pitifully looked up at him.

The drug was flaring up even harder as she weakly called out: brother ….

Feng Yege’s pupils shrank as he looked at her clearly strange expression, his finger slightly tapping her wrist as he frowned.

Then he actually bent down to scoop her up in his arms, turning around as he left with her in his arms.

Lou Qingwu watched dazedly at his figure as her eyes fell on the person in his arms, suddenly feeling as something was blocking up her chest, making her feel stuffy and frustrated.

“Ah? Feng Yege? Did you hear that? That girl called him ‘Feng Yege’ right, isn’t that his name? Are you sure that was the Night Prince?”

“Seeing his graceful bearing, it’s most likely the Night Prince.”

“Who was that woman? Didn’t they say that the Night Prince and Lou residence’s eldest daughter were close? Why is another one cropping up?”

“Who knows, maybe it’s just rumours …”

It’s rare for people to actually call titled people by their names, so calling ‘Feng Yege’ by his name means they’re either close, related or she’s trying to get close to him.
