Even though she knew who was the one getting the award, Tang Xiao still couldn’t help but feel anxious.

The Orchid Awards ceremony was the highest level of awards within the country and recently, news that Tang Xiao had been nominated for best supporting actress had spread.

The other actresses who were nominated were quite familiar names but when they suddenly saw Tang Xiao jump in too, netizens were a bit confused.

Tang Xiao hadn’t even entered the entertainment circle for that long.

Even though her previous films and dramas were major pieces of production, they had one thing in common.

That is, there was no real acting required.

Her acting mostly required her face so from head to toe, her popularity was quite mild before only recently, she suddenly became popular.

This time, in director Qiao’s film, even though she had no lines, her acting was quite praiseworthy.

In contrast to in game, Tang Xiao’s atmosphere in real life was a bit strange.

The whole cast was inside the van and they were getting closer and closer to the ceremony.

Su Bai hadn’t come so there were only two other female actresses including Tang Xiao in the van.

But Tang Xiao’s bruises hadn’t healed from the car crash so she couldn’t wear a dress or anything revealing too much skin.

Instead, she wore a sharp black and white suit, it was slightly cropped so it revealed a bit of her waist.

Her makeup was a bit subdued, but it was still quite beautiful.

As for the other actress, she wore a long sky blue dress.

This made it seem like within the whole crew, apart from that slight bit of blue, everyone else was wearing a suit.

It kind of gave off the feeling that everybody was security for the single princess wearing blue in the van.

“Is your arm injury better?” Qiao Yijing asked.

“It’s already scabbed over but I still can’t wear a dress.” Tang Xiao replied.

“That’s not too bad.” Qiao Yijing lightly praised her.

This shocked Tang Xiao a bit, Qiao Yijing actually praised her for something?

Mu Cheng held onto her hand on the side, softly asking, “Are you nervous?”

Tang Xiao nodded her head, “A little bit, after all, it’s my first time.”

This journey was one that Mu Cheng and Qiao Yijing had made nearly every year so they were quite familiar faces on the red carpet.

It was only Tang Xiao who was a first timer on the red carpet.

“Just think of it as doing a quest together.” Mu Cheng comforted her.

Tang Xiao was slightly embarrassed. “Like playing a quest on Buddhist temple and all different types of random loot get dropped, for example, best male lead, best director?”

These simple four words touched her heart as Tang Xiao’s eyes grew bright and warm.

The van slowly came to a stop as Mu Cheng held onto her waist.

Someone outside opened the doors as Qiao Yijing straightened up his clothes, “Are you all prepared? We’re about to get out.”

The door had only opened a slit before it grew noisier and noisier outside.

The flashing of lights didn’t stop outside.

Tang Xiao felt like, as soon as she took a step outside, it was one step closer to walking next to Mu Cheng.

She wasn’t scared, nor was she nervous.

Instead, she was a bit excited, and it wasn’t just because she was hoping to quickly be able to stand next to Mu Cheng, but because she knew that  he would always be with her.

When the stars walked the red carpet, they always hoped to grab the headlines.

In front of them, a lot of actors and actresses had already stepped on the red carpet, making their fans scream and screech incessantly.

When actresses walked the red carpet, they wore as little as possible to attract attention, or they wore strange dresses to attract attention.

In these few years, there’d always be someone who would have a wardrobe malfunction and reveal a bit too much.

For those actresses, half of them did it on purpose.

This made his originally slightly cold face quite … warm.

The cast was a team so even though they were all wearing suits, it was still quite easy to distinguish them from each other.
