Chapter 194.2 - She misunderstood
The Countess of Chaoxia covered her mouth as she started to sob loudly, crying, “Brother Ye, I didn’t think … I didn’t think that you’d give up your life for me … Yiren … really is so moved.”
Feng Yege’s eyelid twitched, “You’ve misunderstood. I didn’t think of giving up my life.”
It’s not like he could say that he only did it to force his little brat to come out of her shell and reveal her true heart.
Because if he said that, for some reason, he felt like he’d lose face.
So he just coughed to hide it up, deciding to first find a way to get the person in front of him to leave.
“No, brother Ye, Yiren understands, really understands.” The Countess of Chaoxia didn’t know whether to laugh or cry so one minute, she’d be crying and wiping away her tears, but the next, she’d be laughing so hard her mouth couldn’t close.
Feng Yege: ……
“Countess of Chaoxia, you’ve already seen the person and master’s fine now. So shouldn’t you first let the imperial doctors take a look at master, first?” Feng San was too disgusted by the Countess of Chaoxia’s expression of “brother Ye, you love me so much that you’d die for me.’
So he couldn’t help but cut in and stop her.
He really didn’t think this countess loved his master that much.
His master had already been injured this severely but the first thing she did was remember that his master did it to save her.
She didn’t worry about his master’s body at all.
This type of woman was too selfish, in the end, the only person that she loved herself.
She only cared about her emotions.
The Countess of Chaoxia then finally realised that he was injured, regaining her senses from being too overjoyed.
“Brother Ye, look at me, how could I have forgotten that you’re injured? First let the imperial doctors take a look …”
After speaking, she only moved aside a bit, not planning on leaving Feng Yege’s side.
Feng San’s expression grew even worse.
But she was a countess after all, as a little servant, he really couldn’t say anything.
Feng Yege really was too lazy to deal with this Countess of Chaoxia.
When the imperial doctors came in, they froze when they saw the countess.
They greeted her briefly before walking towards the Night Prince.
Firstly, they took off his chest bandages to inspect the wound.
When his wound was revealed, the Countess of Chaoxia suddenly screamed before covering her mouth, her eyes watering, “Brother Ye!”
“.....”
“Wuwuwuwu, you’re really injured badly!”
The imperial doctor had jumped in fright from the countess’ sudden scream, accidentally touching Feng Yege’s wound with his hand.
Feng Yege’s brows furrowed together, his eyes narrowing at the Countess of Chaoxia.
But the countess’ eyes were just filled with worry, “Brother Ye, does it hurt?”
Feng San was so angry he was about to die.
What exactly was she here for?
If it wasn’t for her sudden scream, his master would’ve been completely fine.
Feng Yege originally still wanted to leave the Countess of Chaoxia with a bit of face but he really couldn’t stand her noisy blabber mouth.
He waved at Feng San, “Send the Countess of Chaoxia out of the residence.
“Brother Ye?!” Countess of Chaoxia looked at Feng Yege with disbelief.
But when she only saw indifference in Feng Yege’s eyes, she bit down on her bottom lip.
Finally, with every three steps she took, she turned back to look at him, slowly leaving.
But inside, her heart was still glowing and warm, especially when she thought of that frightening scene.
Her brother Ye was so heroic and valiant as he blocked an arrow for her, lurching in front of her.
It made her especially calm, her brother Ye indeed had her inside of his heart!
The imperial doctor then carefully bandaged Feng Yege’s wound, instructing him about how to take care of his wound.
He couldn’t help but sigh, “The Night Prince’s body does indeed have good foundations. This wound is healing very well, it hasn’t inflamed or heated up at all, even your body is recovering well.”
He only had to rest for a few more days, and he’d be fine.

ReplyDeleteFirst sign/characteristic of canon fodder: be completely, and utterly deluded.
I could carry on with:
a) think they are the MC
b) think they are better than the actual mc
c) actually, think they are a Mary Sue, and that accordingly the whole world and story will bend to their will. Because being mc (or rather thinking they are) isn't enough, since they are so shpecial.
But then, everything is just part of 1) being completely and utterly deluded as mentioned before xDD
What a complete waste of space/letters/chapter.
But then, it will only make her riddance better.

Hey, that is one way to look at it. With the scheme comes these necessary deluded characters. And boy , oh boy , this chick is so far gone that when she falls off the cliff she won't even know that she is falling. I want her gone too.
