Just as the tail end of ‘one’ ended, the weight on her body disappeared.

Feng Yege flipped over to lie next to Lou Qingwu, lightly sighing, “Junior sister, can you not be so smart sometimes?”

This made him feel a bit helpless at being so easily seen through.

Lou Qingwu lit a candle and the room instantly brightened.

Outside, Lan Bai’s questioning voice came in.

The movement outside stopped as Lou Qingwu turned around, her beautiful eyes looking towards Feng Yege.

The candle light besides her ear made a light popping sound before her empty voice travelled over.

“But if you like him, why not make him emperor?” His ten fingers tightened, Feng Yege’s eyes were questioning.

“.... The emperor’s imperial chambers are filled with three thousand beauties. That’s not good.” After a brief silence, Lou Qingwu found an appropriate reason.

“Your senior brother would marry only you.”

She still wasn’t willing to drag him down with her.

He stood up from the couch, his eyes lowered as he took step by step outside.

When he walked past Lou Qingwu, he slowly looked up.

Lou Qingwu’s hands gripped tightly together as she heard the door open and close.

The whole world quickly regained its previous silence.

When Lan Bai pushed open the door on the second day, she found Lou Qingwu sitting on the couch, in a daze.

She froze, “Master, did you wake up early or did you not sleep at all?”

Otherwise, why would the brocade quilts behind her still be so neat?

“Lan Bai.” Lou Qingwu didn’t answer her.

Instead, she slowly looked up, her bloodshot eyes answering Lan Bai’s question.

“In your eyes, what kind of person am I?”
