TFDC Chapter 135.2

Chapter 135.2 - Suffered a grievance

After she swallowed it, she threw out the pigeon again.

Right until the pigeon disappeared into the horizon did she fix her makeup and place another letter that she’d prepared earlier in her hand.

She knocked on the boudoir door.

Knock, knock, knock!

“Come in.” From within the rooms, a girl’s gentle voice sounded.

“Miss, Master Zhou has sent a letter.” The girl pushed open a door, her face filled with excitement and anticipation.

Right until did she reach the girl who had been embroidering, did she pass the letter to her.

Shangguan Yiyun froze for a moment before her beautiful face flushed red, lowly replying with a sound.

“Fei Ye, you can retreat.”

“Yes!” The girl lowered her eyes and when she confirmed that Shangguan Yiyun had read the letter, did she turn around respectfully to leave.

But when she closed the door, she sniggered before quickly turning to leave.

--- Night Prince’s residence

Lou Qingwu looked up to look at the sky, her face expressionless.

Behind her, there was a sudden sound which made Lou Qingwu immediately turn around.

Her eyes fell on the open scroll on the ground.

Then her eyes moved to the person who had been bandaged up well but hadn’t spoken a single word but was trying hard to bend down to reach the scroll.

But he was using his injured hand.

Lou Qingwu couldn’t help but rub her forehead, could he have pretended to have suffered a grievance any harder?

She quickly walked over to him, picking up the book off the ground for Feng Yege and then passing it to him.

But he didn’t take it from her, coldly reclining on the couch and lifting up his injured hand to her.

He then looked at her with his phoenix eyes.

“The injury’s reopened.”

“The Night Prince himself is a doctor, you could bandage it yourself.” Lou Qingwu furrowed her brows as she looked at the wound that was bleeding again.

In her heart, a flash of anger briefly came and went.

Did he really have to torment himself like this?

“.... hand, hurts, can’t bandage.”

“.......”

Lou Qingwu glanced at him.

He looked back at her calmly, as if saying, if you don’t bandage it for me, I’ll just leave it like this forever and just have it bleeding.

In the end, Lou Qingwu’s heart softened as she silently went to grab the medicine box.

She opened up the reopened injury and began to swap the medicine and re-bandage his wound.

When she looked down, she looked earnest yet gentle.

Feng Yege watched her, dazedly.

He just felt like there was a warmth spreading from his heart to the rest of his limbs, but for some reason, he also felt a deep loneliness.

Lou Qingwu tied up the bandage before letting go and looking up at Feng Yege.

Feng Yege didn’t take back his hand.

His thin lips slightly pursed before spitting out a phrase that nearly angered Lou Qingwu to death.

“It looks ugly, tie it again.”

Lou Qingwu coldly glanced at him.

The latter’s eyes showed a rare hint of weakness.

Lou Qingwu silently let out another breath before re-tying the bandage on his wound.

But Feng Yege still didn’t take back his hand.

Lou Qingwu’s head began to hurt.

She rubbed her forehead, before finally, changing another method to tie his bandage.

Feng Yege was finally satisfied as he took back his hand.

Then he stretched out his palm.

“Book.”

“I’ll give it to you!” She picked up the book at threw it at Feng Yege’s hand.

She stood up and when she looked at the butterfly knot that was at odds with his whole body, she couldn’t help but say, “Childish.”

Feng Yege heard this, opened his eyes as his phoenix eyes became even more bewitching.

His thin lips slightly moved, lightly speaking, “I, like.”

“If you like it, you can change your medicine by yourself tomorrow.”

“Come again tomorrow.”

“No!” She tidied up the medicine box and seeing that it was getting late, bid her farewells and was about to leave.

Feng Yege didn’t tell her to stay back but when her hand reached for the door, he lifted up a page.

“The weather’s getting warmer. If in ten or fourteen days, the arm doesn’t change medicine, it might get infected.”

“....” The hand that reached for the door knob slowly formed into a fist.

Lou Qingwu rubbed her forehead hard as she helplessly dropped her shoulders.

“I’ll come tomorrow.”

The door opened and closed as Feng Yege’s lips curled up.

  4. he have pretended to have suffered a grievance any morer? -> maybe "he have tried any harder to pretend he suffered a grievance?" sounds a bit awkward (not to mention morer isn't a word) as it is right now.

Welp, who needs shame anyway. Not like staying away and acting in a proper manner would get his waifu's attention. :P

  5. Please don't take this as a criticism. It's honest constructive feedback.

***Would you consider reducing the spacing between sentences? I've tried reading from my phone and tablet, but the formatting makes it uncomfortable. There's A LOT of spacing between each sentence and there seems to be an absence of paragraphs so reading is a bit straining on the eyes.***

    Either way,
    Thanks for translating.

    1. There aren't really paragraphs in the original text. It's mostly double-spaced so I've copied that formatting. You could try zooming out? I've attached screenshots on another post so it's mostly a theme issue but I prefer double-spacing because it's easier for me to edit and read 🤗🤗

    2. I study design, but I don't actually pick up on it and had to be told, but some people are sensitive to the amount of black/white due to books having paragraphs and they're all editted so people can read it
which doesn't translate well from chinese, I know, since they use a lot of space so people can read it and a stockier paragraph in chinese will probably be a long sentence.
The current is on the line of 'fine' and 'too much white', I assume
(looks fine to me, also because I read raws, help me with finding lines)

    3. That makes sense. I just thought it was fine because other translations that I read were also double-spaced like this 😔😔

    4. Well, it's selectable, so there's option to put it in word and change the spacing, too
(me too, but it's all in what you're used to seeing (●´□`))

    5. The formatting is normal when I post but the theme has different spacing 🤷
