After Ye Ji left, Xiahou Qing wiped his face to regain his usual calm.

“Go bring Miss Lou to see this little prince.”

“Yes!” The housekeeper received his orders and went forward to the main hall to see Lou Qingwu.

Very quickly, Lou Qingwu followed the housekeeper to outside of the study.

The housekeeper had already received notice from the third prince to not enter so he opened the door, and let Lou Qingwu in by herself.

Lou Qingwu’s lowered eyes were cold before she quietly composed her face.

After she had just stepped into the room, the door quickly closed behind her.

She turned around to meet Xiahou Qing’s eagle-like eyes, eyes that held suspicion and darkness.

Lou Qingwu seemed to have been shocked, jumping as she watched Xiahou Qing uneasily.

Her originally pale face became even more pale, bloodless.

Xiahou Qing continued to stare at her.

“Qingwu, do you have anything to say to me?”

“En? Say, say what …” Lou Qingwu widened her eyes, her eyes were bright, making Xiahou Qing hesitate.

But Ye Ji’s words resounded in his ears, and just thinking about the possibility that she might have lied to him, made his chest feel stuffy.

He angrily glared at her, “Why are you still pretending to be silly?”

He took two steps towards her, his icy fingertips touching the side of her face, lightly massaging her cheek.

Lou Qingwu’s small face reddened, subconsciously leaning closer towards him, “You, you already know?”

Xiahou Qing’s eyes coldened over, was she admitting to it?

“I didn’t want to either, but you won’t blame me right?” Her eyes blinked at him, her small face completely uneasy.

Her eyes were watery.

Xiahou Qing felt a fire burst inside of him, furious.

He gripped Lou Qingwu’s chin tightly.

Lou Qingwu’s brows furrowed, looking at him questioningly. “Third, third prince, you … what are you doing … AH!”

In the next moment, Lou Qingwu felt like the sky and earth were spinning.

Her whole body was shoved harshly backwards by Xiahou Qing, her back slamming against the wooden frame behind her.

It hurt so much that she gripped her chest, coughing.

Her harsh coughs reached Xiahou Qing’s ears and made his mind slightly clear.

“Stop faking it! This is what you get for lying to me!”

“Third prince … cough, cough, cough … you, what do you mean, lying to you …?” Lou Qingwu was panting, her breaths unsteady as her small face looked up at him, pale.

“And you’re still saying that you’re not lying to me? Didn’t you already admit it?” Was she only pretending to get close to him for the second prince?!

“Cough, cough, cough …” Lou Qingwu almost couldn’t breathe as she continued to cough, she shook her head, “I didn’t … I didn’t lie to you …”

She suddenly coughed out a mouthful of blood, her body limply falling by Xiahou Qing’s feet.

Xiahou Qing saw the blood as his expression changed.

His heart was a mess as he used his foot to kick her stomach before realising she wasn’t moving at all.

Suddenly, he felt a bit uneasy.

He bent down, half holding her in his arms.

He put two fingers underneath her nose and felt only a very weak breath.

His eyes widened in shock, his body swayed as he suddenly saw the patch of blood on her chest quickly expand.

Suddenly, he shouted towards the people outside, “Hurry and get an imperial doctor here! Quickly, get one here now! Qingwu, Qingwu ….”
