Chapter 14.2 - Making more waves





“Eldest miss!” Dong Mei saw her with a face full of happiness and pounced forward, she kneeled, “Your servant finally waited for you! Even though your servant was sent over to other pavilions to serve, your servant has always only thought about you!”

Dong Mei said as she cried tearfully, but her downwards facing face revealed only contempt and mocking.

Pfft, she was only a first born that received no love from her father, she’d only get a bit of benefits now. Wait until second miss finishes her scheme, then see how she’ll retaliate!

But as she was fully immersed in her acting, Lou Qingwu didn’t have the slightest reaction.

Her low voice was soft, very light with a hint of frailness, showing how much of a pushover she was, how innocent and naive she was.

Dong Mei thought about exactly how easy her master was and was unable to restrain from feeling proud.

She stood up, patted her chest, “Eldest miss can trust me. With you servant, there’ll be no problems.”

Lou Qinguw smiled and nodded, watching at the servants that appeared from who knows where, Leaning Wind Pavilion was just like new in no time.

And at this time, there were six or seven urgent footsteps.

Lou Qingwu only smiled deeper but when she turned around, her face was emotionless.

They came a lot faster than she expected.

“Disobedient daughter!” Lou Qufeng hadn’t even stepped into Leaning Wind Pavilion but was already yelling at her.

Lou Lianxin was just adding oil to the fire as Lou Qufeng stared at Lou Qingwu’s emotionless face.

He was so angry he was shaking, “Just because she was in a bad mood, she can start randomly hitting people? Before, she willingly went to the countryside and now she’s upset about that? You have to go to the emperor’s banquet tonight, how can you bring that face to the banquet?”

The emperor’s birthday banquet was an important event and now this is all and well, when the emperor sees, wouldn’t it just make him angry?

He always knew that Lou Qingwu was similar to that woman but he never knew that in all white, she was 100% similar.

Lou Qufeng’s moment of distraction turned into him becoming completely dumbfounded.

What did Lou Qingwu do to Lou Lianxin’s face to make her dad that angry? Also photo not relevant because LQW's face was swollen with hives so she didn't look even 0.000001% as nice and pretty.
