Chapter 3.1 - Frighteningly dark night


“Oh, you finally remembered.” Lou Qingwu lightly laughed.

She bent down and with the same clear and cold voice, “Seeing as you’ve now remembered, then you should be able to remember that year’s affair. Yonghe Year 11, you wanted the capital city’s Jade Rouge’s lady boss but she wouldn’t agree. Then you brought your underlings at night to attack the store but was discovered. Afterwards, you slaughtered all fifteen people at the store before finally burning the whole building down very cleanly.”

“...”

“Li Ziqing, sixteen people’s lives, I’ve been looking for you for three years.” Just the day before, they were clearly alive. But on the second day, they turned into burnt corpses. It was the kind of feeling that she’d never forget in a lifetime.

“Li Ziqing, have I not told you that the Rouge’s real boss is me. And that they were my people?”

He killed them, so how could she not take revenge?

“Wu wu wu…” Li Ziqing started to struggle as if his life depended on it and stared, frightened at Lou Qingwu.

Lou Qingwu’s smile deepened but asked a strange question, “Do you like to draw?”

Li Ziqing was already scared to death and just nodded his head.

Lou Qingwu’s eyes turned warm, “I like to as well.”

Seeing as everyone liked it, then let’s work together.

And so, under Li Ziqing’s frightened eyes,she slowly turned around. When she came back, her hands were holding a black box with a golden lock. The grain of the wood was dark but very fine and delicate but gave people a sense of uneasiness.

He struggled to move backwards but couldn’t move at all.

“You’re really disobedient.” Lou Qingwu bent down close to his body and for a second, a feeling of cold scraped Li Ziqing’s face.

But this time, it wasn’t a finger, but a very fine small knife.

Lou Qingwu’s held a perfect smile and pressed a button. Li Ziqing frightenedly discovered that the ropes binding his wrists started to rise and hung him up. He wasn’t held up too high or low, about 15cm up in the air. His face went white with fear and uneasily looked towards the warm and beautiful girl in front of him.

Pure like a white lotus, but who could guarantee that her heart wasn’t made of poppies?

Lou Qingwu lifted her head up to look at his body. He had a handsome face, his body was good so … definitely suitable for art.

Oh, but where would she start?

She tilted her head hesitatingly.

“Hurting any part of the skin would make it look ugly.”

She muttered in that still soft and voice but Li Ziqing’s soul nearly flew away from fear after seeing her next action.

She, she, … what is she going to do?

“Then we’ll start from here.” Her hand lightly lifted up, revealing a wrist that had blue veins showing from how she was tensing.

The sharp knife lightly cut and drops of blood bled out, spilling on the cold floor underneath into a beautiful blooming savage flower.

Beautiful, it really was beautiful.

Lou Qingwu retreated two steps and watched the blood drops that dripped without stopping with eyes filled with excitement, especially eye catching.

Spotless yet frighteningly dark.
