Chapter 2.1 - Rebirth and return

Yonghe Year 14, Month 11, Outside of the capital city, Linyang Town



Crowds and crowds of people squeezed in at the government office’s entrance where inside, a woman sorrowfully begged, “Qing Lang, my stomach’s child really is yours!”

“Mine? Ha ha ha! I, Li family’s 3rd son, would look upon someone like you? Don’t joke around! Look carefully, this is who my fiancee should look like!” The man’s voice was disdainful and mocking.

He was just fooling with this woman but did she have to pester and cling to him so much? Seriously, how annoying!

“Ziqing, don’t speak like that, big sister just loves you too much. Who would’ve thought that she would collude with another person to frame you, ah, as her sister, I seriously can’t look anymore ... “

“Little sister you …”

“Official! I don’t know this woman! Who knows who the father of the evil spawn inside of her is?”

“Qing Lang, you clearly …”

The rabble of noises and crying was enough to make anyone annoyed.

The spectators couldn’t help but point except for one person in the crowd who had stood for a while, a girl wearing white.

It seemed as if she hadn’t been disturbed at all by the commotion. Her face was delicate and pretty and white with clear eyes and she had an aura that was clean and pure. It would only take one look for someone to be unable to look away.

Her eyes stared unwavering at the three people in the main hall, the man was rude, violent and irritable, the woman by his side was arrogant and domineering, and the other woman holding her stomach was crying her heart out.

“Qing Lang, you can’t leave! This child really is yours … “

As the man turned to leave, the woman suddenly grabbed onto his leg. She really didn’t collude with anyone!

“Get off!”

The man was angered and his eyes flashed with irritation. He grew even more irritable and ruthlessly, kicked at the woman’s stomach. The woman’s body fell askew, smashed against the pillar and immediately, screamed in pain before falling to the floor. It wasn’t long before blood spread from the woman’s body, a truly shocking red.

She embraced her stomach, scared stiff, begged, “Save me…”

The man laughed coldly but didn’t move.

Everyone was shocked by the scene but didn’t dare to go forwards. Li family’s sons were people that no one dared to offend in this Linyang town.

The light from the woman’s eyes slowly faded and left only despair when she suddenly desolately laughed and ferociously smashed her head backwards, splashing blood everywhere at the scene.

“De-dead?

The man was shocked and stilled, but immediately regained his poise and towards everyone, shrugged, “Everyone saw that she committed suicide, I didn't lift a finger … such bad luck! I’m leaving, I’m leaving!”

The people at the entrance who were watching the show were also shocked still.

But no one stopped the man from leaving.

No one could offend the Li family.

And the girl near the entrance stared at the man who was walking close to her, looked at his familiar and handsome five features and suddenly sighed, I’ve searched for you for so long …
