His eyes fell on the pastry box as a light passed in his eyes.

He nodded, “Place it over here.”

The housekeeper moved forward and placed it on the desk.

He opened it as a clear fragrance immediately wafted out.

When he took the neatly lined up rows of hibiscus cakes out and put them on a plate, Feng Yege visibly froze.

His originally calm expression became smiling.

But when he thought of the scene at the pleasure boat yesterday, he couldn’t help but ‘hmph’.

But seeing those hibiscus cakes, he reluctantly waved his hands, “Retreat.”

The housekeeper peeked at Feng Yege’s expression and knew that his master was happy.

Lou Qingwu looked down, hiding her eyes from them as she shook her head, “Your daughter obviously is happy for little sister.”

She was only scared that her good little sister won’t be happy after marrying in.

Suddenly, the sound of gongs and drums were heard as well as firecrackers.

Lou Qufeng heard this and instantly stood up, “They’ve come, good! Good!”

Lou Qufeng repeated ‘good’ twice, because after all, his second daughter hadn’t even married and they were already like this.

Originally, he was worried that the Li family would break off the engagement, but it was good that in the end, they chose a date for them to marry.

The date was an auspicious one but because it was so soon, everything was simplified.

Lou Lianxin’s small face reddened, the bustling air had infected her mood too.

She suddenly turned to Lou Qingwu, her expression bright as she naively and innocently spoke, “Big sister, ah, when your come-of-age ceremony happens, your little sister might not be able to come. Lou Qingwu acted as if she didn’t see the mocking and cockiness in her eyes, as she laughed and didn’t reply to her.
