Chapter 128.1 - The Night prince explodes in anger
Feng Yege tightly pursed his lips as his eyes slowly moved downwards to the already empty plate.
His phoenix eyes slightly narrowed before looking back up and lazily laughing, “It was very tasty.”
Ye Ji’s eyes lit up.
She jumped forward, hugging Feng Yege’s arm as she lifted up her head towards him, coyly, “Brother Ye, then from now on, I’ll make hibiscus cakes for you every day, okay?”
“No need.”
Feng Yege soundlessly removed his arm from her embrace, “I won’t eat it ever again.”
Ye Ji froze before laughing, “Okay, that’s fine. Then brother Ye can come with me to worship Buddha at the meditation temple?”
“I’m busy today.” He looked towards outside the study and without waiting for Ye Ji to say anything, shouted, “Shiyi, go send Miss Ye Ji back to the third prince’s residence.”
“Yes!”
Feng Shiyi silently appeared in the study and it wasn’t known if it was on purpose, but appeared just so that his body was right between Feng Yege and Ye Ji.
Ye Ji unhappily stamped her feet, but Feng Yege wasn’t willing to talk to her for any longer.
She knew that if she pushed him too hard, he wouldn’t be willing to see her any more but how could she just give up so easily?
She turned around, “Okay, then Ye Ji will go now.”
After she finished speaking, she walked towards the exit.
But as she reached the doorway, she suddenly seemed to have thought of something, turning around to look towards the silent Feng Yege, “Right, brother Ye, are you going horse riding at the military grounds?”
Feng Yege didn’t lift up his head, “No.”
Ye Ji didn’t get upset as she blinked, smiling charmingly, “Then that’s really a pity. I heard that brother and Qingwu little sister are going. Originally, I just wanted to round the numbers but if brother Ye doesn’t have time, that’s fine. Brother Ye, I won’t disturb you any more, I’m leaving now.”
Hearing the door close, Feng Yege’s hand that was originally holding a file, paused.
Feng Shiyi looked worryingly at Feng Yege, “Master, this …”
Feng Yege rubbed his forehead, “Just go along with what she wants. Go send Ye Ji back home and be careful to not fall for her tricks.”
Feng Shiyi: “Yes.”
Right until the study regained its previous silence did Feng Yege finally turn around.
His eyes fell on the box and plate that Ye Ji hadn’t taken away yet, suppresssd anger suddenly rising up in his eyes.
He flung his sleeves as the items instantly fell to the ground.
It crashed and shattered into countless pieces.
Outside, the housekeeper heard this noise and his heart thumped.
He quickly pushed open the door and rushed in.
Seeing the mess on the ground, he suddenly dropped to his knees, “Master, it was this old servant’s fault for not investigating properly …. Master, please punish this old servant.”
Feng Yege stepped on the shattered fragments as he walked past the housekeeper and towards the study’s door.
His footsteps stopped, “Get someone to clean it up.”
After he finished speaking, he stepped out and looked at the garden full of irises.
But these flowers that used to give him a sense of joy, suddenly made him feel stifled instead.
He almost had a sudden urge to go find her, and ask her what she was thinking.
Why did she have to tell that to Ye Ji, did she know it meant to him?
Did she really just love Xiahou Qing so much that ….
So much that she’d rather …
