Chapter 41.3 - Pink, pink, pink 2

His eyes that were looking at Xiao Lin were starting to blur over.

He calmly sat in the bathtub and began to wonder, what exactly did he do in his past lifetime for the heavens to send Lin Wen here to mess with him like this?

His wet hair stuck to the sides of his head as water beads slid down his face.

It slid down to his chest and entered the bathtub.

His peach blossom eyes looked expressionlessly at the water in front of him.

In a second of spacing out, she lost her grip on the bathtub as her whole body fell backwards

Her bottom hit the ground first, hurting her so much that she sucked in a deep breath.

This night, Chief Ning’s top part hurt, Xiao Lin’s bottom part hurt.

As the classic saying goes, both sides suffer.

“That, are you okay?” Xiao Lin asked weakly.

She dragged him up from the bathtub and rubbed him with a towel, wrapping him up in a blanket afterwards.

“For the sake of your chastity, it really wasn’t easy on me. Men, have to be clean right? Okay, you can take a rest. I’ll leave first. Take care of yourself, if you can’t hold it in, just follow my method to clear up you mind.” Just as Xiao Lin was about to leave, she left a few instructions for him.

Chief Ning’s eyes were about to kill her again.

Afterwards, Xiao Lin found out that Chief Ning was the type of be extremely petty.

She gave him such an unforgettable night so of course, he had to give her one as well.

The second day, he instructed someone to throw her into the pool.

And let her bathe in there for two hours before letting her come out.

It was already late October so it was starting to get cold, Xiao Lin was shivering in the water.

When she reached the edge of the pool, Chief Ning’s voice was incredibly cold, “Xiao Lin, I don’t care what you want to do. But if you want to play, you have to be prepared to play.”

Xiao Lin silently put up her middle finger in the water.

She felt like she was blind, to have fallen in love with this type of person.

She had to lie down in bed for a whole day before she got better.

The love she had for Chief Ning instantly turned into disgust.

She lied down in bed for a long time before she thought about how she would enter into battle with Chief ning.

Unexpectedly, at that time, Tang Xiao was introduced as a newcomer that Wanyu Media were willing to spend lots of money to invest in.

The media were going crazy saying that she was Chief Ning’s new love.

Xiao Lin felt like her opportunity had come.

She took the initiative to volunteer for the opportunity to be Tang Xiao’s assistant.

On the first day, Chief Ning warned her not to touch Tang Xiao.

During the time that she spent by Tang Xiao’s side as her assistant, Xiao Lin kept trying to find some sort of news to give Chief Ning a critical hit.

But in the end, she didn’t get to find out Chief Ning’s dark history, but she knew every single last bit of Tang Xiao’s dark history.

For example, constantly opening new accounts on Weibo to compliment herself.

Commenting, “Tang Xiao, Tang Xiao is the prettiest, do you know how good Tang Xiao is~”, etc etc.

She also used her other accounts to fight with her antis.

Or she used her accounts to confess on Mu Cheng’s page every day.

This was just the tip of the iceberg on how shameless Tang Xiao was.

On the other hand, Chief Ning had virtually no gossip or scandals.

Xiao Lin kept trying to catch Chief Ning at Tang Xiao’s house.

But in the end, she crouched down and waited for half a month but didn’t even see half a shadow.

During this time, she’d already started worrying for Tang Xiao that she’d lost Chief Ning’s favour.

Day after day, she slowly let down her guard.

She even became very good mahjong friends with Tang Xiao.

After the end of a friendly mahjong meeting, Xiao Lin unexpectedly won a lot.

She then suggested that she treat her for dinner.

That night, they drank a lot.

Alcohol really was a scamming thing, Xiao Lin had a lot of experience with this.

For the first time, Xiao Lin found out that when Chief Ning got drunk, he was even more serious than usual.

“You want fight one-on-one?” She blurted out without thinking.

Chief Ning then nodded his head.

But this simple one-on-one was in bed.

The method of this one-on-one was ‘meat combat’.

And it was this time that she accidentally slept with Chief Ning.

When she woke up on the second day, she wanted to slap herself.

Last time, she hadn’t successfuly slept with him and he’d already nearly drowned her.

This time, she’d succeeded so would she turn into a sunk corpse in the Yellow river?

So she ran.

She pretended as if nothing happened on that day and lied down in bed for a few days.

Those few days at home, she asked for Chief Ning’s eighteen generations of ancestors.

Chief Ning stopped her at her house every few days.

His expression would be dark and ask, “That night, it was you?”

Xiao Lin faked innocence well. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“A few nights ago, I drank too much.” Chief Ning stared at her eyes.

Xiao Lin looked away, dodging. “En, I drank too much as well so I called my mama right away. If you don’t believe me, you can ask my driver, he was the one who picked me up.”

After she finished speaking, she was about to support her back and wobble back in.

“What’s even more shocking for me is that Chief Ning didn’t actually do anything to you and bought you congee.”

“Heartless (fu xin)  and begging for forgiveness.”

Tang Xiao: “I need to fix your usage of phases. It’s fu jing (bringing a bramble) and begging for forgiveness, not (fu xin) heartless and begging for forgiveness.”

Xiao Lin: “.... it’s still begging for forgiveness, is there a difference?”

“What suggestion did you give her?” Xiao Lin asked.
