Chapter 169.1 - Stretching out a hand to save her
Feng Shiyi and the others didn’t let her in.
Their master didn’t look right, so they wouldn’t let her disturb him.
But when had Zi Li ever suffered anything like this?
She narrowed her eyes and as just about to throw a tantrum when the housekeeper rushed in and quickly spoke, “Miss Ye Ji is here, do we tell the master?”
“Just politely refuse her. Didn’t the master say to not see her?”
Feng Shiyi looked at the housekeeper strangely.
The housekeeper wiped away his sweat, “It’s not that, there’s someone else here with Miss Ye Ji.”
“Who?”
“The third prince.”
“Didn’t they say he was sick?” The moment Feng Shiyi thought of that name, he thought of Lou Qingwu and his expression became bad.
“Aye, I didn’t look closely. So … do we tell the master?” After all, if it was just Miss Ye Ji, he would’ve been alright to send her away.
But if the third prince suddenly pushed him away, that … he wasn’t sure about.
Feng Shiyi and the others turned to look at each other.
They weren’t too clear on what their master thought either.
In the end, they decided to get Feng Shiyi to ask when he sent medicine over to him.
“Ye Ji? Third prince? Who is Ye Ji?” Zi Li’s ears were sharp as she heard a name, her intuition tingled.
Feng Shiyi and the others pretended to be deaf and didn’t say anything.
Zi Li turned to face the housekeeper.
The housekeeper didn’t know who Zi Li was, only knowing that she was an esteemed guest and so, he didn’t dare to neglect her.
He told her what he knew, “That … this Miss Ye Ji is the third prince’s god-sister and she’s been here a few times before.”
“Oh?” Zi Li’s eyes lit up.
Her pretty eyes rolled around before sprinting to the front hall, “I’ll go play with her!”

When Feng Shiyi took the medicinal cabinet to Feng Yege’s rooms, he saw that Feng Yege had already bathed and just stepped out of the secret passage.
His white gown hung loose on his body and water droplets still clung to his long hair.
His eyes were cold.
Feng Shiyi went over to help him replace his medicine and thought for half a day before unable to ask, “Master, did you … fight with Miss Lou?”
“En?” Feng Yege froze.
Then he carefully spoke, “Why would you ask that?”
“No-nothing.”
Feng Shiyi still couldn’t bear to repeat the heartless words Lou Qingwu said so he silently retreated after replacing Feng Yege’s medicine.
“Right, master, the housekeeper said Miss Ye Ji and the third prince are here. They’re in the main hall right now, will you go see them?” Feng Shiyi still had his head lowered so he couldn’t see Feng Yege slowly putting on his clothes.
When he heard ‘third prince’, his movements faltered before his face instantly froze over.
A second later, it returned to its usual calm and cool.
“What are they here for?”
“That … this subordinate doesn’t know.”
“En.” Feng Yege lightly replied.
Feng Shiyi didn’t know if that meant he heard or if he agreed to see the third prince.
He placed the medicinal cabinet down and turned around to ask again but he saw that Feng Yege had already stood up, casting a long shadow.
His clothes fluttered as he walked, “Let’s go.”
Master really wanted to see the third prince?
Feng Shiyi’s face changed as he quickly put down the medicinal cabinet and hurried after him.
He didn’t know why but he felt like the third prince didn’t harbour good intentions in coming here.
Furthermore, just thinking about how close the third prince and Miss Lou were getting, and how Miss Lou treated his master …
Anger was growing inside him as his steps quickened.

ReplyDeleteAs for third princey being here despite being "sick". Probably 90 or more % chance he's here to rub some salt into FY's wounds and hope for him to be brash letting him get the playing field more messy.

If not I will personally kill that third prince and all the others slowly on my own with cursing them to death!!!! Anyway thank you translating this chapter and continue with the good work!
