Chapter 174.1 - Evil deeds get bad karma
Lan Bai jolted upright, “Master, and you’re letting him get away with that? Too despicable!”
Just because you won’t help him, he’ll kill you?
That’s too scary!
Lou Qingwu’s expression didn’t change much before a long time later, she narrowed her eyes.
“If he wants to test me, then I’ll give him a satisfactory answer.” She coldly curled a lip.
When Lou Qingwu returned to the Lou residence, she’d just left the carriage to walk in when she saw the second madam, Ruan Zhen.
When Ruan Zhen saw Lou Qingwu, her face instantly soured.
She mocked Lou Qingwu as she watched her walk towards her, the two people just passed each other, sneering, “I heard that someone had recently just become titled a ‘countess’ and she’s already running to the third prince’s residence. She’s really too carefree, but she has to be careful. Evil deeds will have bad karma, she should be careful and watch out, because things might suddenly take a turn!”
“You …” When Lan Bai heard Ruan Zhen curse her, she nearly wanted to throw up, exactly who was the one committing evil deeds?
But just as she opened her mouth, Lou Qingwu stopped her.
Lan Bai reluctantly closed her mouth, swallowing the words that she wanted to use to snap back with.
In the end, this was the Lou residence and she was only a maidservant.
If she really started a shouting match with Ruan Zhen, the only person who would get in trouble would be her.
She’d get collared with the crime of ‘bullying the master as a servant’ which would only make more trouble for her master .
Ruan Zhen saw that Lou Qingwu didn’t allow for her maidservant to speak back and instantly got cocky.
She looked at Lou Qingwu triumphantly, with contempt in her eyes.
She instantly felt comfortable all over before an arm suddenly stopped her in her tracks.
When she looked up and followed the arm, she met with Lou Qingwu’s cold eyes.
She slightly shook as her back suddenly felt cold.
Seeing Ruan Zhen’s eyes, Lou Qingwu suddenly smiled.
That smile made Ruan Zhen suddenly feel ominous, “Second madam has just reminded me that I’m currently an imperially titled countess, so did you forget something?”
“What did this madam forget?” Ruan Zhen saw the way Lou Qingwu was watching her as her heart instantly started to bristle.
Lou Qingwu’s expression became even more innocent.
“If I remember correctly, when you see a countess, you must greet her well. But second madam hasn’t given a single reaction, you haven’t even called me by my proper name. So does that mean,” Lou Qingwu suddenly stepped closer to Ruan Zhen, forcing her to jump backwards in fear.
Lou Qingwu leaned into her ear to continue, her voice almost like a demons, “So second madam looks down on the emperor’s imperial edict? You want to against an imperial edict? En?”
“What kind of nonsense!”
Ruan Zhen had no idea that Lou Qingwu would suddenly slap such a big crime on her as her face instantly paled.
But when she looked up and met Lou Qingwu’s cold eyes, her heart suddenly started to shake.
She suddenly was frustrated with her previous attitude.
As annoying as this little sl*t was, she was still an imperially bestowed countess.
Her eyes rolled around before gritting her teeth and sucking in her anger, lowering her head as she politely and courteously greeted her, “Concubine Mrs Lou-Ruan, greets Countess of Rende, countess … is well.”
Ruan Zhen’s actions made the maidservants behind her instantly start to bow and greet her.
Lou Qingwu looked at the calmly, her slim and upright figure suddenly had a domineering aura.
Her lips curled, “All rise.”
Her apathetic tone was like sharp knife wrenching Ruan Zhen’s heart.
Her ten fingers gripped the ground, she felt like her blood was boiling up to her head.
But she still had to bear it, slowly standing up as her head was still lowered.
This was the only way she could hide the poisonous glare in her eyes, “Thank you countess.”
The people behind her then also stood up.
Lou Qingwu watched her unwilling expression as her smile deepened.

I just came back from watching Black Panther (I know, I know, like four months late).
It was really good!
LQW's title is - Ren De, pronounced like "rehn duh" not just "rende". Chaoxia gets one word so LQW gets one word~

DeleteI haven't watch Black Panther as well.. I plan to and really want to but every single time I have free time I forget to do it and will only remember when someone mentioned it or I saw it while browsing. (-ะด-；) Gonna ask someone to get me a clear copy so I could watch it.
