Chapter 108.2 - How could it be him

Lou Qingwu didn’t seem to hear him as she continued to untie Lan Bai.

She quickly helped her up and checked her veins until she confirmed that an ordinary bewildering medicine was the only thing in her body.

Then her face cleared up a bit before taking out a vial from her bosom, pouring out some medicine to pass to Lan Bai, “Can you swallow?”

Lan Bai’s mouth was a bit sore from being stuffed with cloth but nodded, “Wu, master, don’t worry. I’m fine.”

She took the pill and threw it into her mouth.

Once it melted in her mouth, she felt a clear sweetness that made all of her limbs feel comfortable.

Lou Qingwu’s calm gaze made Lou Qufeng so angry that his chest was heaving up and down, he wanted to angrily point and yell at her but seeing the third prince who had his arms crossed and was leaning against the door, he had to force himself to calm down.

The two words “private punishment” made Lou Qufeng’s face darken.

In Dongyu country, the line between master and servant were clearly defined.

A master could easily punish a servant that had made a mistake.

But without that line, then once private punishment was meted out, that was a heavy offence in Dongyu country.

Lou Qufeng viciously turned towards Ruan Zhen, “Second madam, is Qingwu right? This servant girl wasn’t sold into our Lou residence?”

Ruan Zhen gripped her handkerchief.

In her heart, she yelled at Lou Qingwu a million times.

Originally, her plan was flawless.

She’d already left with the third prince, so why did she have to come back?

Now, they got caught in the act.

But she couldn’t not reply to laoye’s questioning, or otherwise, he’d think that she did it on purpose.

Then in the future, her position in his heart would fall.
