Chapter 113.1 - Forced on the path of no return

“Big brother, I don’t why that child would do this so suddenly either? If I knew beforehand, I definitely would’ve stopped him!”

When Ruan family’s second master heard this news, he’d nearly gone crazy with anger.

He had to use a few schemes to make sure that the news was hidden, just to hide it from the family head for a while.

But when he found out that his son had really packed up and run away, he finally had to come here and beg for forgiveness.

How could his Xiang’er take it so hard, that after such a big thing had happened, he could still be able to run away and leave it for him to clean up after him?

If he was a bit more careless, he would’ve burdened the whole second Ruan family.

Ruan Xiuren was so angry that his chest was heaving up and down, that damn sod.

If he knew that his second brother’s family was so useless, he shouldn’t have softened his heart to let them take care of Ruan family’s most important golden storage!

Ruan Er heard this and his family completely changed.

Ruan Xiuren ferociously waved his hands, “Then what do you want me to do? Such a large Ruan family can’t be burdened because of one person. Ruan Er was completely dumbfounded, his legs weakened as he fell to the floor.

Ruan XIuren angrily sat back on the masters’ seat again, his chest heaving hard.

It’s like rubbing salt on their wounds.

But all they could do now was to minimise the damage.

Official Zhou quickly arrived and because he was cautious of the Ruan family’s second young master’s reputation, he kept his investigations on the low.

But this Ruan family’s second young master seemed to have disappeared out of thin air.

Ruan Xiang couldn’t be found but the number one Jinsi building’s affair still had to be dealt with.

Ruan Xiuren rubbed his forehead before weakly ordering the housekeeper behind him, “Go find number one Jinsi building’s shopkeeper, help me arrange a time. I need to speak to the largest stakeholder behind Jinsi building.”

“Ah? Family head, but that stakeholder never sees anyone, this … will probably be hard.”

“Just try your best.” This time, this affair was too big.

He was afraid that even this shopkeeper Jin wouldn’t be able to ignore it.

He just hoped that this large stakeholder would be able to give him a few more days.

Housekeeper: “Yes, this subordinate will go ask.”

Tang Er held shopkeeper Jin’s letter and silently entered the Leaning Wind Pavilion.

He knocked at the side wing’s door and heard Lou Qingwu’s reply before pushing the door to enter.

“Master, shopkeeper Jin has sent a letter saying that on the Ruan family head’s side, they’ve begun moving.”

“En.” Lou Qingwu took the letter from his hands and swept over it quickly.

After finishing, her lips curled into a smile as she looked up.

She walked towards the window, picking up a pen and began penning a new letter.

She passed it to Tang Er, “Tell Ah Jin to follow the original plan.”

Tang Er: “Yes.”

After Tang Er left, Lan Bai couldn’t help but ask, “Master, are you really going to see the Ruan family head?”

TL note:

Largest stakeholder - the Chinese directly translates to biggest boss. It’s the person who holds the most power and controls most of the business which is more like the largest stakeholder?

Parents are so pitiful, they do so much for their children. I’m going to go call my mum now 😭
