Chapter 150.1 - Coming of age ceremony

Lou Lianxin could’ve never thought that even if other people looked down on her, there’d be a day when even Li Jingsheng would look down on her?

She’d spent all of her time and effort to scheme her way into marrying him and then what happened?

His heart didn’t have her any more!

She suddenly regretted this, she didn’t want to marry Li Jingsheng any more.

But there was no way out, her mother didn’t care about her any more and now even Li Jingsheng became like this.

Didn’t all of this all happen because that sl*t Lou Qingwu came back?

It’s all of her fault! All of her fault!

Her eyes grew vicious as she couldn’t hide the grievance and hatred in her heart any more.

She silently let herself be carried on the back of the matron and as she saw herself being carried into the palanquin, she saw that it was just an ordinary and plain one.

It wasn’t the eight big palanquins of her dreams, there were no ten miles of wedding festivities, there was nothing, and she’d just be married off like this?

Ws she unsatisfied?

Yes … very resentful.

Hatred, resentment and jealousy all bubbled up in her as she kept trying to push them down.

Lou Lianxin angrily clenched her fists together.

There would be day when she would return anew!

At that time, she’d personally stomp them all underneath her feet, one by one!

Li Jingsheng expressionlessly watched until Lou Lianxin entered the palanquin before looking away.

He glanced at Lou Qufeng and then waved carelessly, not saying a word before pulling at his horse’s reins and leaving.

“What kind of attitude is that?” Lou Qufeng was about to die of anger, as he glared at his back, humiliated and furious.

“Having even that attitude is not bad. When that affair happened, can you imagine how embarrassing it was, to have all of your colleagues and fellow advisors to watch and stare at you in a circle? Like an ugly little clown? If they’re a person, they wouldn’t be able to take it.” If one of the parties wasn’t her daughter, she would’ve laughed about it.

But her daughter was, and her daughter Lian’er was the one who had to suffer because of it.

So how could she not resent this?

Furthermore, seeing Lian’er marry off so pitifully, she could already imagine how she’d be received at the Li residence.

They probably wouldn’t be very welcoming at all.

Now, she could only hope that Li Jingsheng would remember their good old days and protect her a little.

And she’d have to hope that Lian’er was able to protect herself.

Back then, for the sake of finding someone to assassinate Lou Qingwu, she’d already used up all of her savings.

Otherwise, she definitely would’ve given Lian’er a little more dowry.

She grit her teeth as she could only swallow up all of the grievances and resentment she had in her stomach.

She took one last look at the palanquin before wiping her face.

She couldn’t watch any more, as she turned around and entered her room.

Ruan Zhen’s attitude made even Lou Qufeng’s expression freeze over.

This second madam really was increasingly not worth his pity.

But it was lucky that he still had his fourth madam, as well as the child inside of his fourth madam’s stomach.

He was about to have a son.

He also quickly turned around and headed towards his fourth madam’s rooms.

Not too far away, a figure almost casually wandered over.

The figure stood at the empty Lou residence’s entrance, clothed in a dignified and noble manner, it made her skin even more fair like snow.

Lou Qingwu watched silently as the procession slowly disappeared from her eyes, her eyes growing darker.

That slight hint of red was like the last image of blood that she’d seen.

Next to her, Lan Bai also watched dazedly before her mouth jerked to the side.

If it wasn’t for Lou Lianxin and Ruan Zhen being so awful, how could they have fallen so low?
