Chapter 33.2 - Suddenly going crazy

But he was only loyal to the emperor and his current duties were to investigate the people behind the voodoo.

Anything else, temporarily, wasn’t his affair and belonged to the justice department.

“Reporting to the emperor, in the inner palace, only Kunning palace has snow silkworm silk.”

“Empress!” Hearing “Kunning palace”, these three words, the emperor’s face completely darkened to the point of scaring people.

He ferociously turned around, his sharp eyes staring straight at the empress, “What else do you have to say to this emperor?”

“Emperor, you have to believe this subject-concubine, subject-concubine is innocent! Subject-concubine has no reason to hurt consort Ying!” The empress’ face was pale as she kneeled to the ground.

She didn’t know who on earth would frame her like this!

Ever since the first time consort Ying had framed her, she had completely avoided Liuhua palace for the sake of not dragging down her sons with her.

So how could she harm consort Ying at this crucial time?

He viciously pulled up the empress from the ground, only hating that he couldn’t personally rip her to shreds on the spot.

The fact that he had actually slept with such a vicious shrew for all these years, his Ying’er, ah …

“Emperor-father!” Xiahou Rui and Xiahou Liuyun almost immediately knelt to the ground.

Because of Lou Qingwu’s reminder, Xiahou Rui had mentally prepared himself, but Xiahou Liuyun’s face completely changed.

“Emperor-father, empress-mother could never do such a thing! Please, emperor-father, please investigate carefully!”

The emperor’s sharp eyes turn ed towards the Cui senior-maid behind the imperial guard commander.

She was shaking as she nodded her head, “Yes, yes! This is the snow silkworm silk and because it’s a tribute holy item, only Yongan palace and Kuning palace received it. Empress dowager took pity on the younger generation so she didn’t leave any for herself, she had given it all to Kunning palace.”

“Empress, what else do you have to say!” The emperor practically howled.

It was dead silent in the room as everyone all silently kneeled.

“Please, emperor-father, think three times. THis hasn’t been clearly investigated, please don’t just deliver judgement like this.”

Xiahou Liuyun was becoming anxious.

Even though he normally spent his days just playing around, he really was just a 16-17 year old boy so when he was faced with this, his mind was a complete mess.

His heart was even more confused so he had no idea on what to do, but his mind did know one thing, and that was that his empress-mother definitely wouldn’t do this type of thing, his empress-mother had definitely been framed!

And the Xiahou Rui behind him didn’t say anything for some reason, but if you looked carefully, you’d see that his face was scarily pale.

The moment that Xiahou Rui had kneeled down, he felt his mind explode.

It hurt him so much that he was about to go crazy, he wanted to scream and howl, he wanted to violently rip everything around him to shreds.

He began to pant and pant, the fists lowered to his sides clenched even tighter …
