Chapter 8.2 - Account gets hacked, everything's stolen, hugging a thigh

Tang Xiao placed the phone away from her ear.

Her voice sweetened incredibly as she spoke, “En, his mom [ma] forced [bi] him? I understand, he’s of such an old age now so he should definitely get married. Okay, I have to go work now, I’ll call you in a while. Dear, bye bye~”

She cleanly and quickly hung up as she courteously smiled at Mu Cheng, “Senior Mu, hello.”

Mu Cheng nodded at her and when he walked past her, his smile got larger but of course, Tang Xiao didn’t notice at all.

Behind him, a large golden retriever suddenly leapt up and pounced on Tang Xiao.

Today, she wore a white dress that just went to her knees.

The golden retriever's paws gripped tightly on her dress and as she looked down, she met the golden retriever’s dark wet eyes.

It excitedly poked out its tongue and occasionally, leapt forward to sniff at her too.

Tang Xiao: My dress!!! My hero, please take your hands off!! No, wait!! Paws!!

“Tang little poem, let go.” Mu Cheng’s voice faintly sounded from behind.

Tang Xiao and the dog let go of their hands and paws.

Tang Xiao’s whole body stiffened.

Mu … Mu Cheng knew her in-game ID????

“Sorry, Miss Tang, Tang little poem really likes girls in dresses. I’m sorry if she’s scared you.” Mu Cheng rubbed “Tang little poem”’s fur as the golden retriever jumped up.

Her front two paws lied on his knees as he stretched out his hands.

“Tang little poem” jumped up to lick his hand.

“That, can I touch her?” Tang Xiao leaned over and when faced with that soft fur, really wanted to touch it.

When faced with a dog that had a really similar name to her in-game ID, her heart felt a bit weird.

If this was an ordinary dog, Tang Xiao would probably just change her ID.

But this was Mu Cheng’s dog.

That sound of Mu Cheng saying “Tang little poem” was like music to her ears.

Mu Cheng passed over Tang little poem’s paw to her and Tang Xiao held it, the whole dog hung from her knees.

Tang Xiao: Hello, I’m Tang big poem.

Little and big Tang poem happily played together, Tang Xiao even took out some snacks to feed it.

Tang Xiao silently roasted in her heart: Aye, a human’s relationship isn’t even as good as a dog’s.

“Okay, don’t spoil her too much.” Mu Cheng rubbed his dog, his eyes so gentle that they looked like they’d drip water.

His side profile was so good looking, his eyelashes like little fans that when they blinked, they nearly fanned Tang Xiao’s soul out.

“Your phone just started ringing again, is that okay?” Tang Xiao’s eyes moved from Tang little poem to Tang Xiao.

Tang Xiao hurriedly pulled out her phone and saw that she had 8 missed calls from July.

For safety’s sake, she pulled out her phone to call her again.

The phone connected in a second and July’s voice exploded in her ear.

“Little Tang poem!! You finally picked up!! I thought I was going crazy! It’s just an account that got hacked!! You have to stay calm!! Just accept it! The world is so beautiful and you still have us, you still have Su Muzhe!”

Tang XIao narrowed her eyes and shot back, “Even if I have you guys,  I’m still about to go crazy. I can already think of my future. Before you guys were, “Let’s go group-kill little Tang poem!” Now it’s going to be, “Let’s one-on-one vs little Tang poem.”

July coughed twice and corrected, “We currently say, let’s gang b*ng little Tang poem!”

“....” Why did she have to enter this group, enter this guild.

“You beasts! You’ll get karma for this!”

“Look, normally when you’re not happy, you’ll go chopping people up to get happy. Now, you’re so wiped clean that you only have a pair of pants so you should let us be happy, right?”

Scared that Tang Xiao might kill herself, July persuaded patiently.

She used friendship, love and familial love, these three points as well as humanitarianism, idealism and realism to persuade her.

“Getting your account hacked is better than being cheated on! No problem, just hug Su Muzhe’s big thigh and even if you’re only wearing a pair of underwear, you’ll still be able to be the boss in Spirit Road!”

“If I get cheated on, I can still be a green giant and walk sideways. Then I can be the boss in Spirit Road too.”

“The green giant also only wears a pair of underwear. I helped you ask and they said that after being hacked, you can only recover so many items. Your age of being the boss is already over, so come and join the “thigh hugging” brigade!”

The two people started earnestly discussing the problem of hugging a thigh.

In the end, the two people put up their middle fingers to each other and ended the topic.

When she went back, Su Bai had already arrived and Mu Cheng was still playing with Tang little poem.

Su Bai seemed to really hate dogs and stayed far away.

The program that Tang Xiao participated in was an indoor challenge type program.

Mu Cheng, Tang Xiao and Su Bai were newcomers to the program so the host didn’t purposely make things hard for them.

The program followed the script and in a few segments, it was already over.

Mu Cheng’s dog kept trying to run onto the stage.

She excitedly watched the stage because all of the girls on the stage were wearing dresses.

“Mu Cheng, Tang Xiao and Su Bai, did you special guests have fun tonight?” The host asked.

The three people all nodded their heads.

“Okay, I hope we can have the chance to play together next time.”

Not too far away, a director called out “we’re done”.

Tang little poem jumped up and pulled at Tang Xiao’s dress, not letting go.

“Tang little poem really likes you.” Mu Cheng went over to help pull away his dog.

Tang Xiao thought: It wasn’t a waste of my afternoon trying to suck up to her!

TL note:

His mom forced him - “ma bi” is a swear word but [ma] sounds like mom, [bi] sounds like forced, so she’s pretending that she didn’t swear [ma bi] and was saying “His mom forced him …”

Hugging a thigh - probably heard of this one before but it’s when you suck up to someone who’s more powerful/rich and they kinda take you in under their wing.

Green giant - they say that when you get cheated, you get a green hat/your head starts dripping green, hence the green giant.

Be a boss in Spirit Road - they actually say you can walk sideways = be the boss, be so great that no one can stop you from walking sideways.
