Chapter 48.1 - Being flirted with

Thousand face behind her saw this scene and didn’t know if he should rush in and save his master or use his hands to first cover up his eyes.

Master had said before coming here, no matter what the price is, she would make the Night Prince agree.

But, but did this count?

Was this the prologue to master being flirted with?

Lou Qingwu had thought of countless hypothetical situations where Feng Yege would reject her, but she hadn’t considered that he would suddenly lean in so close to her and be so close to her.

She reluctantly forced her face to show no emotions before silently lifting up her faces, facing Feng Yege’s deep and darkened eyes.

She saw her face clearly reflected in the bottom of his eyes, “I don’t know what the Night Prince means?”

“Of course, it means I’ll see if it’s worth it or not.”

“Oh? What’s worth it or not?”

“If this prince is to help you heal someone, of course, I need to get some benefits out of it.”

“Then, what do you want?” As long as it was something he wanted, she’d try her hardest to get it for him.

“No matter what it is, you’ll agree to it?” His icy cold fingers brushed away a stray hair on her cheek.

His long finger circled the hair around his finger, the dark contrasting his jade-white hands was just right, extremely pleasing to the eye.

Lou Qingwu’s red lips pursed and straightened into a line.

In half a moment, lowered her eyes and hid a dark flash, “Yes, what does the Night Prince want?”

“This hmm.” The laughter in Feng Yege’s eyes increased.

“Then, you can be this prince’s personal maid for two days.” He watched Lou Qingwu’s eyes suddenly turn strange and then his own mood unexpectedly got better.

His mouth corners turning upwards to a smile as his long figure cast a thin shadow on the floor.

Lou Qingwu and Thousand face both froze.

Originally, they thought it’d be some hard request but to only be his personal maid for two days, how could that even count as a request?

Thousand face blinked, then looked uncertainly at his own master: did he hear that right?

Feng Yege already went back to his couch as he lazily propped his head with his hand, his half hidden eyes were dark, giving people an unreal feeling.

But the way that he looked at someone gave them a feeling that he was completely devoted to you and in a moment longer, would be almost hypnotised by his emotions.

Lou Qingwu calmly took back her gaze, lowered her lids and replied, “This subject-girl knows. When will the Night Prince have time to heal her?”

“Whenever.”

“Then tomorrow, this subject-girl will bring her.” It was only two days of being a servant, she really didn’t believe that Feng Yege could do anything to her.

As they bid farewell to Feng Yege, Lou Qingwu secretly brought Thousand face back to the Leaning Wind Pavilion.

When they were inside, Thousand face still hadn’t fully absorbed what had just happened: “Master, this Night Prince, what do you think he wants?”

How could such an easy thing like that just happen?

The rumours said that requesting the Night Prince to heal someone was harder than stepping onto the sky.

But this Night Prince had not only agreed, he didn’t even want that nearly extinct medical book and only just wanted his master to be his personal maid for two days.

This Night Prince didn’t seem to lack any personal servants either?

Unless …

Thousand face’s eyes fell on Lou Qingwu and measured her up and down before finally falling on her perfect and beautiful little face.

He paused, uh oh, this Night Prince definitely couldn't have fallen in love with his family’s master!

As if hearing this thought, Lou Qingwu looked at him: “Hide away those thoughts in your brain.”

“Ah? Then is it not? Apart from that explanation, I really can’t think of any others.” He wasn’t the only one who thought that the Night Prince was emotionless.
