Mu Yunqing whole body was taut as his face grew even more bloodless.

“No …” It couldn’t be.

He’d only slept for two days, so how could she be dead?

It was so hard for him to finally find her, so hard for him to finally get her to stay by his side so how could she be dead?

Mu Yunqing took step by step towards Su Sheng until he finally reached to the white cloth, as well as that bloodied and lifeless face.

He suddenly kneeled with a ‘thump’, shaking everyone’s hearts as they suddenly skipped a beat.

He bent down as his icy cold tips traced her face, lightly rubbing the bloodied stains o n her face.

But the stiffened skin and blood stains couldn’t be wiped away.

He couldn’t help but slightly use some pressure but as if he was scared of her, was extremely careful.

He slowly bent his back before lowered his body to tightly embrace Su Sheng’s corpse.

He opened his mouth, he felt he was in so much pain but he couldn’t shout at all.

He only felt like chest was muffled as he wanted to shout at her, shout at her to wake up but his chest was so cold.

It wasn’t at all like the lively her that he had saw just a few nights ago.

How could this happen to him?

What did he do wrong?

Why was it so hard for him to get her, but in only a few days, they had to throw him down to hell again?

“Pu!”

Finally, he couldn’t hold it down any more as Mu Yunqing’s head was crooked as he spat out a mouthful of blood.

“Yunqing!”

Behind him, Li Xiangluan’s face had already twisted into a bad expression from seeing Mu Yunqing holding Su Sheng.

But seeing him spit out blood, she quickly ran towards him.

However, she wasn’t even able to touch Mu Yunqing before he angrily pushed her away.

His back was bent as he slightly turned his head to reveal two bloodshot eyes, the extreme hatred pierced Li Xiangluan’s eyes painfully.

She wanted to explain again but seeing Su Sheng’s corpse, she couldn’t say a word.

Zhou Chengtian took everything in with his eyes and couldn’t help but sneakily wipe away his wet eyes, coughing lowly to hide his own emotions.

“Cough, let’s continue. Mu young official’s emotions aren’t stable so you can temporarily just stay there. Madam Mu, please come back first, there are still a few things that i want to ask you.”

Li Xiangluan looked at Zhou Chengtian, and then looked  again at the Mu Yunqing who didn’t have her in his eyes at all.

She silently lowered her eyes before returning to beside Lou Qingwu.

“This official’s madam knows, official, please ask.”

Zhou Chengtian, “Are the three offences that Lou family’s eldest miss alleged, true?”

Li Xiangluan lifted up her head and couldn’t help but look towards Li Miao.

Li Maio’s eyes flashed a light as Li Xiangluan lowered her eyes, shaking her head.

“No, this official’s madam won’t admit to these false claims. I don’t know anything about it. I don’t know this Su Sheng. I only saw her a few days ago at the left prime minister’s birthday banquet when my husband suddenly brought her to his other residence. Only then did I know of her existence.”

Hearing Li Xiangluan’s denial, Lou Qingwu’s eyes became cold.

Zhou Chengtian found himself at a loss before looking towards Lou Qingwu, “Miss Lou, do you have evidence”

“As this girl has come here, I obviously have evidence.”

Li Xiangluan’s heart tightened, suddenly feeling uneasy.

But thinking about how everything she did was seamless and without a trace, she calmed down again.

She also had her father and her father said, as long as she denied everything, he wouldn’t let anything happen to her.

“Oh, what evidence do you have?”

“Then I’ll first talk about the third offence, I have evidence of her bribing the justice department’s Zong Ping to whip Su Sheng to death.”

When she finished speaking, she clapped her hands and footsteps sounding from outside.
