Chapter 81.2 - Hereditary prince

So that early morning, Lou Qingwu brought the third sister Lou Yun’er, who she hadn’t since she’d come back to the Lou residence, to Kunning palace and into the reception pavilion.

On the way, Yun’er was especially excited, her bright and pink face was filled with a naivete and happiness.

Lou Qingwu’s impression of Lou Yun’er wasn’t deep.

In their past life, she was always by Xiahou Qing’s side and didn’t go back to the Lou residence.

It was only later on when she became the empress did she become closer to the people of the Lou residence.

That’s also the reason why she was schemed by and harmed so badly by Lou Lianxin.

By the time that she’d become the empress, Lou Yun’er had already been married far away a long time ago.

She wanted to take revenge on Lou Lianxin and Ruan Zhen but she wouldn’t take revenge on anyone who hadn’t offended her before.

If Lou Yun’er was truly as innocent and harmless as she looked on the outside, then, she was willing to dote on her like a true sister from the same mother.

But how could any girl who had come out of a high ranked residence truly have no scheming intentions at all?

It was just that at this moment, she truly couldn’t be cold to Lou Yun’er’s small face.

“Big sister, Kunning palace is so pretty. Yun’er’s never been to such a pretty place. Mother said that big sister’s been here a few times. Are the other places in the royal palace just as pretty?”

Lou Yun’er gripped Lou Qingwu’s hand tightly and glanced in all different directions every now and then.

Her big eyes were full of emotions as they moved around everywhere.

She was quite similar in looks to her mother, the fourth madam Chi Mei’er.

She was pleasing to the eye, a humble kind of pretty with delicate features that had a gentle feeling.

“Yes, this is only the imperial chambers, there are other pretty places too.”

“Then can Yun’er go and look at them?”

“You can’t right now.”

“Ah, why can’t I?” She dangled her head in disappointment.

She lightly swayed Lou Qingwu’s arm, piteously saying, “Yun’er wants to see.”

“Yun’er, be good. This place isn’t like home so you can’t just run around wherever. If you’d like, you can ask your mother to take you to a temple to offer incense.”

“No, I don’t wanna. Yun’er really wants to go. Big sister, why don’t you sneakily take Yun’er, okay?”

She lifted up her head, Lou Yun’er’s expectant face was so innocent that you wouldn’t bear to say no.

But without waiting for Lou Qingwu to speak, the Lan Bai to her side, couldn’t hold it in any longer.

“Hey! Third miss, do you think this is your home? Just go where you want to go and leave when you like? You’re speaking as if you’re here to play in the palace. Watch out for those imperial guards, they’ll grab you and throw you into jail. Then you can call out every day but no one will answer you.”

Lan Bai followed behind the two of them and hearing the third miss’s incessant chatter, her ears were about to fall off.

She absolutely despised this type of delicate and weak official’s daughters who were also incredibly stubborn.

Sneaking in?

Did she really think that the palace was that easy to sneak into?

If she was caught off guard and they thought she was an assassin, then at that time, she wouldn’t even have time to cry.

Furthermore, she definitely didn’t believe that the fourth madam wouldn’t have warned her about what she could and couldn’t say at the palace.

She leaned in closer to Lou Qingwu’s ear, “Master, don’t bother with her. She hasn’t seen you in three years yet can be so close and intimate as if you’d known each other for years? That’s definitely suspicious!”

And there definitely was something very suspicious.

She’d pretty much asked and investigated about every little thing in the residence.

This third miss’ facade was as innocent as could be but why did she hear that this miss had constantly beaten up her maid servants?

She clicked her tongue, who was she pretending to be all pitiful to?

Lou Yun’er heard this and immediately rebutted, “Big sister, don’t listen to her. Yun’er definitely didn’t! Yun’er heard from mother from when she was little that big sister was well educated, gentle and virtuous as well as having excellent medical skills. She even said that big sister was someone that I should aspire to be. So when I grow up, I want to be exactly like big sister.”

When she finished speaking, she lifted up her her little head, her big wet eyes glimmering beautifully.

Lou Qingwu only calmly curled her lips, “It’s time to enter, let’s go.”

“Oh, okay.”

Lou Yun’er opened her mouth but didn’t say anything.

She could only follow anxiously behind them to the pavilion and to the place where they’d been allocated to sit.

But in a place where Lou Qingwu couldn’t see, Lou Yun’er angrily glared at Lan Bai.

When Lan Bai walked over from her side to Lou Qingwu, she stretched out her leg to trip her over.

Lan Bai was clearly walking with her head facing upwards, but it was like her legs had eyes as they easily stepped over Lou Yun’er’s outstretched leg.

Whilst the other leg viciously stepped on top of Lou Yun’er’s leg.

It was so painful that Lou Yun’er let out a cry.
