Chapter 85.2 - Poisonous intentions

Lou Qingwu watched as consort Ying’s facial expression rapidly changed.

She lowered her eyes to hide the coldness in her eyes.

How could she not think of what she wanted?

Even though consort Ying said that this could take her life, but if she truly died or was poisoned, how could this consort Ying get away that easily?

So for the sake of self protection, firstly, she wouldn’t let her die.

Lou Qingwu placed the cups back on the tray and the palace maid who held the tray, had a strange expression on her face.

They all lowered their eyes, whether they believed her or not was a completely different matter.

The empress looked at consort Ying and then at Lou Qingwu and Xiahou Rui who were standing below the stage.

She finally realised consort Ying’s intentions as her face darkened.

But she couldn’t lash out so she could only laugh coldly, “Little sister’s really smart. Originally, I thought little sister was innocent and naive. Who knew that you’d be able to come up with such an ingenious joke, you’ve really … broadened my horizons.”

Her words were light, but the mocking and contempt in them, was strong.

Consort Ying just smiled but didn’t speak, her hatred towards Lou Qingwu only growing stronger.

The empress was also angrily gritting her teeth.

If it wasn’t for the fact that Qingwu, that child, was quick thinking, she really didn’t know what Rui’er and her would do.

The empress finished speaking before turning to look at consort Ying, “Little sister shouldn’t have a problem with that, right?”
