The justice department’s official - his name is Zong Ping, a third grade official that works at the justice department and is in charge of the jail. Rather low ranked.

Okay fine, felt the need to lighten the mood with a bad joke. Surely between an official abusing his position and their combined medical skillset Su Sheng should live? Mu Yunqing's another matter-ish entirely >_>; Even if she's too scared to ask him for the full details of what happened, he should have been more attentive and supplied his own explanation anyway, surely one that would raise some question marks and make them talk about everything >:|
I'm totally not biased for Su Sheng because she's the only one who got hurt by so many things this whole time whereas loverboy over there just lived his life only being hurt by her absence. >_>; toottttaallllyyy not.
I'd almost prefer that Mu Yunqing being killed by Su Sheng and then Su Sheng killing herself so that they can be together in death. But that's too unoriginal apparently and living is more suffering than being dead 🤷🏻♀️
DeleteSu Sheng's body is already at its limits. Feng Yege already tried his best to get her legs working but working as a prostitute plus all the stress that the fake Mu Yunqing gave her, has taken its toll on her body. Then this happened. So even if it gets resolved happily, Su Sheng probably wouldn't live for long anyway.
Mu Yunqing probably didn't feel like he needed to give an explanation because he didn't do anything wrong. All he did was go to the capital, take a test, score highly and then came back to being dumped by his fiancee? He probably wouldn't want to know why Su Sheng dumped him and then suddenly came back 😭😭
He has a mouth so he should have asked why she left him and married some body else when he came looking for her. Then, SS would realize something was off.
